This message is a reminder that Harrison County Schools will be back with in-person learning tomorrow, Tuesday February 23 using our Hybrid Model. Buses will run at their regular time. Students who would normally attend on Monday and Tuesday will be in person tomorrow. Students scheduled for Thursday and Friday will come on those days. Wednesday’s are designated for those students learning virtually full time for the remainder of the year. The district will continue to have remote or virtual learning for all students using the Google Classroom. Warmer weather tomorrow and continued scraping in trouble spots should should provide for safe routes to school on Tuesday.

During this time the district will continue to have remote or virtual learning for all students using the Google Classroom. Harrison County Schools will be offering meals on Wednesday, February 17th. You can pick up meals at the high school drive through from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., or at one of the following locations from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The locations are: Berry Funeral Home Dollar Store on US Hwy. 27 North Indian Creek Christian Church Parking Lot Renaker Fire Station Eastside Elementary School If you cannot get out of your home for any reason, we will deliver to those who we can: Provide us your address, number of children being fed, and a phone number by one of the following methods: 1. Monday, February 15 is Presidents Day, one of the national holidays our school system recognizes and there will be no school on that day. Harrison County Schools is continuing to operate using the Hybrid Learning Model. If your child is registered for in-person learning they should report as they are scheduled with Group A reporting on Monday and Tuesday and Group B reporting on Thursday and Friday. In the event of inclement weather we will inform you of our schedule on each day or the night before if possible. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s school.
