Southside Elementary proudly celebrated Ag Education Week on Wednesday with an inspiring event highlighting the importance of agriculture and community!
We were honored to welcome distinguished guests, including Dr. Robbie Fletcher, Kentucky Commissioner of Education, Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman, and Miss Kentucky Ariana Rodriguez, who joined staff and students in celebrating agriculture education across our schools.
The day was made complete with a delicious yogurt parfait made with locally sourced ingredients.
A special thank you to Mr. Todd Harp and all of the staff and students of Southside Elementary for making this day so memorable it was a wonderful celebration of agriculture and community.

Traffic Alert for Bus Riders & Car Riders
Please be aware that the railroad crossing near 3M and the National Guard Armory will be closed tomorrow 3/12/26 from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Due to this closure, school buses will be rerouted, which may result in possible delays for afternoon routes. Car riders traveling in that area may also want to plan an alternate route.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to safely transport our students.
