Due to conditions limiting routes with bus turn arounds, road temps below freezing and the anticipated arrival of 1-2 inches of snow forecast for mid-day, the Harrison County School District will be observing a snow day tomorrow, Tuesday, February 3. The timing of this system along with road temps could present travel conditions which may be unsafe for buses and student drivers. Thank you for your understanding and please know that safety will always be our first priority.

Students from all four Harrison County elementary schools are invited to participate in this fun, collaborative production. ✨ Who can participate? *Elementary students in grades 3–5 📅 Rehearsals begin: First week of February...FIRST Rehearsal is February 3, 2026 🕒 When: Tuesdays & Thursdays after school until 4:30 PM 📍 Where: Southside Elementary School Gym 🚌 Transportation: Students will ride the bus from their home school to Southside Elementary 👕 Costume fee: $25 per student 👨👩👧 Mandatory parent/guardian meeting: 📅 Thursday, February 5 🕒 Immediately following rehearsal 📍 Southside Elementary School Gym ⚠️ Limited to 40 students total *Sign-up deadline: Friday, January 30th 👉 Interested families should complete the Google Form to secure a spot.
