FRYSC coordinators build relationships between schools, homes, and communities to support families and help students succeed. Explore various community events, including a free movie at Rohs Opera House on Feb. 18 at 1:30 pm, sponsored by Jada Walker Griggs. Join us at the University of Kentucky for "The Black Women's Biography" at the William T. Young Auditorium. Don't miss Discovery Saturday at the Planetarium, featuring shows and community partners from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., all free of charge. It is important to note that we are in the planning stages for the upcoming school year and any information that you can provide is greatly appreciated. The goal is to have daily operations based on a Monday through Thursday morning and afternoon sessions. The age requirement for preschool is you must be 4 years of age on or before August 1, 2024. Enrollment is based on income however, there are tuition spaces available. You can attend at three years of age if there is a suspected or identified disability. Andrea Laytart and Tiffeney Schaad, recipients of the Golden Horseshoe Award, are exemplary leaders with a commitment to excellence. Their tireless efforts reflect devotion to the students of Harrison County Schools. As the award was presented, a wave of emotion swept through the room. The depth of admiration was evident. Congratulations to them both and we look forward to celebrating future winners who persist in motivating others.
