On behalf of the Cynthiana Harrison County Public Library and the Harrison County Board of Education, we enthusiastically announce that in the first week of sign-ups for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library we have enrolled 252 children from birth to 5 years of age! This means that 252 children will receive free books each month until they age out! That is the 30% first year goal in the first week! Just scan the QR code which will direct you to the online registration portal if you'd like to register! Please share so that not one of our smallest community members miss out on this fantastic program!
It is National Beta Club Week: March 7th - 11th! We are proud of our students who choose to participate in this organization!
National Beta is committed to recognizing high academic achievement, rewarding and nurturing worthy character, fostering leadership skills and encouraging service to others.
All 4 elementary schools competed in the Regional Governor's Cup competition on Saturday, March 5th with the following results:
Westside - Maddie Peters placed 4th in Science
Eastside - Issac Powers placed 2nd in Social Studies, placed 1st in FPS, 4th overall, and was the recipient of the Hume Sportsmanship Award
Southside - Overall 2nd place in Future Problem Solving
