The Harrison County school community is joining the efforts to help those families affected by the recent floods. We have parked a box trailer in front of the administration office where anyone who wishes to drop supplies may do so & we have already received our first donation.
Come out and support our HCHS football team this Saturday morning, July 30th! Come hungry and get your belly full at their pancake breakfast!

Our HCHS FFA students have had fun at camp this week in Hardinsburg, KY!
Harrison County Preschool Screenings will be held during the week of July 12th-14th at Southside Elementary School. We have tried to make contact with all the students that we have preschool folders on at this time. If you have not been scheduled a time and day for the screening it could be a result of 1) any student that was in the program last year does not need to attend the summer screening, 2) any student that is in the First Steps program is already going through the transition process where assessments are being done, or 3) we have tried to make contact but do not have correct contact information. Due to increased heat, and COVID-19 rates, The Kentucky Dept. of Education and USDA have granted us a waiver to allow "Grab N' Go" meal service for our Summer Meals Program for the remainder of the summer. Meals are available at River Road Ball Park from 12:00 - 12:30 PM, and HCHS from 11:30 - 12:30 PM Mon-Fri. We will continue to offer Summer Boost reading opportunities for those that stay on site to eat at our River Road Ball Park Site.
A new month means new opportunities to be a part of our Summer Reading Program at the River Road Ball Park!
