Since it is National Principals Month, we decided to ask each of our principals what the most rewarding part of their jobs are! HCHS principal, Steven Fowler had this to say, "My favorite thing about being a principal is the opportunity to work with diverse and amazing students and staff; to witness the dreams of youth and the guidance of experience open up a world of opportunities. In the end, it's about the people and their journeys! "

HCMS Boy's Basketball tryouts also begin tomorrow! See the link for more information! https://www.harrison.k12.ky.us/o/hcms/article/861968

HCMS Girls Volleyball Tryouts begin tomorrow! See the link for more information! https://www.harrison.k12.ky.us/o/hcms/article/861960

Since it is National Principals Month, we decided to ask each of our principals what the most rewarding part of their jobs are! Westside principal, Jon Hoskins had this to say, "My favorite thing about being a principal is the opportunity to work with our students and families over a series of years. Working together, building relationships, and watching children (and families!) grow from preschool to middle school is both fun and rewarding. I am constantly awestruck when I see the ingredients of hard work, family encouragement, and good teaching combine to make my students confident, capable, and caring. In my 18th year as a principal, I also enjoy seeing my former students grow up to become adults in our community-then bring their own children to school!"

Christmas Angel sign-ups begin next week on Tuesday, October 18th!

Since it is National Principals Month, we decided to ask each of our principals what the most rewarding part of their jobs are!
HCHS assistant principal, Jenny Nichols had this to say, "I enjoy being a principal because I get to work with young adults. I see their enthusiasm, their naiveté, and their sense of wonder as they embark on becoming life ready. I love working in my hometown with a team of educators who, help students prepare for life after school in whatever endeavor they pursue."

Since it is National Principals Month, we decided to ask each of our principals what the most rewarding part of their jobs are!
HCMS principal, Michael McIntire had this to say, "Middle School is my jam. I absolutely love the age range because it is so defining of a moment in a young person's life. Middle school kids can and DO say anything..... much like their principal. Maybe it's the fact I never really grew out of middle school years!
Middle School = Goofy. I'm goofy. We're a perfect match."

Since it is National Principals Month, we decided to ask each of our principals what the most rewarding part of their jobs are!
Eastside's principal, Melissa Miles had this to say, "The best thing about being a principal is the number of hugs I get every day! Most days I get 100 or more! There is nothing better. How could you not have an amazing day?"

A few of our Central Office employees purchased baked goods from the HCHS culinary arts program students today, which was a sweet way to start fall break!

We hope that all of our students, teachers, staff and their families have a safe and happy fall break!

Since it is National Principals Month, we decided to ask each of our principals what the most rewarding part of their jobs are! Southside's principal, Todd Harp had this to say, "The very best thing about being a principal is getting to spend your days with the most awesome kids in the world and watching them grow and become amazing young people. I've worked with elementary, middle and high school aged students, and to see how they mature at all three levels is an awesome experience. To see them go from caterpillars to spectacular butterflies makes our job so rewarding."
