Harrison County Schools plan to offer meal service during the week of Spring Break, April 6th through the 10th. Monday and Tuesday will operate as they have been since the closure began with Breakfast, Lunch, and Supper. We will provide Breakfast and Lunch for Wednesday through Friday upon request, and those will be delivered with Lunch on Tuesday. To request breakfast and lunch for April 8th - April 10th, please call 859-234-7113 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Supper service will not be offered Wednesday through Friday.
Any media requests for Harrison County Schools should be directed through Donald Richie, Public Information Officer, or Harrison County Schools' Superintendent Dr. Harry Burchett. They can be reached at the Harrison County Board of Education office at (859) 234-7110.
Harrison County Schools will be utilizing Non-Traditional Instruction days from now through April 10, 2020. NTI packets will be distributed on the district website at www.harrison.kyschools.us or printed out and distributed. Also on the website is an informational sheet on who to contact for various issues during the shutdown. It is located on the left side of the home page under the link, COVID-19 District NTI Information.
Continuing its COVID-19 response and working under the guidance of Gov. Andy Beshear, Harrison County Schools will operate on a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) schedule through April 17, 2020. All extra-curricular and scheduled events have been cancelled through this date. Please see the news article at www.harrison.kyschools.us for complete information.
UPDATE: HCHS NTI packets for days 21-25 will be available online at www.harrison.kyschools.us or pickup in the front office foyer of the high school beginning Friday, April 3. The foyer will be open 24/7.
If a student did not pick up or have NTI packets for days 11-20 delivered, they need to call HCHS at 234-7117 or stop by and pick it up.
Students may drop off completed NTI packets in the foyer anytime, in the NTI drop box.
Juniors, the ACT you were supposed to take on March 10, is rescheduled. It will be given in the fall of your senior year. A specific date has not been set at this time.

Even though Harrison Co. Schools are closed this week, Harrison Co. Board of Education would like to offer meals to our students. Meals will be free of charge to all students 19 and under. Meals will be packaged in brown bags by certified nutrition staff to ensure food safety.
