Cockrell's Corner

Hello!  It’s that time of year again…time to start back to school!  Let me take a few minutes to introduce myself.  My name is Mary Claire Cockrell, and this is my first year as a teacher here at Southside Elementary.  As a graduate of Harrison County, I am excited to be returning to the district.  In my time away from Cynthiana, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kentucky Christian College and a master’s degree in Special Education from Georgetown College.  While at KCC, I met my husband, Sean.  We have been married 9 years and have 3 wonderful boys: Isaac (7), Seth (5), and Jonah (4 months).
