This week in math we are practicing conversions of mixed numbers and improper fractions. We are also learning how to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators.

This week in math we are practicing conversions of mixed numbers and improper fractions. We are also learning how to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators.
Thursday, February 2- Mid-terms go home
Students are learning how to write fractions in simplest form and how to find equivalent fractions. Students who have mastered the basic multiplication and division facts tend to grasp these concepts more quickly. Please continue to study the basic math facts.

Students need to continue to practice basic math facts. In the next several weeks, we will learn how to multiply and divide fractions. Knowing the basic facts will make it easier for students to learn the concepts of multiplying and dividing fractions.
Wednesday, December 14- Christmas Party @ 1:10 Please bring a book to exchange with a classmate. The limit is $3.00-$5.00. Please note that this date has been changed from Thursday, Dec. 15.
