Here are the things we will be working on in each subject this week.
Reading – words with aw (paw), au (pause); short e sound using the letters ea (head)
Spelling – words that contain aw (draw)
Math –Facts: subtracting half of a double and review facts; finding the missing addend; figuring out how many more and how many less you need to complete a problem with base ten blocks.
Writing – finish up writing a letter; begin writing a story.

Spelling – words with the oi, oy sound (oil) and (toy)

Math –Facts: difference of 2 facts and review subtraction facts; Review tally marks, time to the half hour, fractions, counting on from a given number: Introduce word problems adding three things together and continue to work on adding three numbers together.

Writing – writing a letter.
