Farmer Brown has a problem – he usually loves the noises on his farm, but ever since those cows found the old typewriter, all day long it’s click, clack, moo – click, clack, moo – clickety, clack, moo! And typing cows are just the beginning. An unusual note launches a milk revolution, and the chickens want in on it too. Did you ever hear of cows that type or farm animals that go on strike? Well, Farmer Brown does not know what to think! His life may get a little less moo-sical, but you and Duck are sure to have a quacking good time!

WELCOME TO SECOND GRADE
~ First Day of Class – Tuesday, August 10th -
This week much of our time will be used to 'get acquainted' with our classmates, our classroom and school.  We will also be going over the rules that are expected to be followed and learn what is expected. In addition, we will be doing some basic review work to make sure what was learned last year has been retained through the summer.
Next week we will begin migrating into our 'second grade structure' that will be used throughout the school year.  Remember that unless there is a notation under Special Notes for The Week, our week's activity will be consistent week to week and an outline will be posted soon.
