Mrs. Jenkins 7th grade Science

The Reading Counts Auction was today. Students spent the points they had earned to buy some really cool stuff. It is always fun and it teaches kids how to act and bid at an auction. We even have a real auctioneer come in for us. Thanks to Shawn Combs for volunteering your time!!

The rest of the week will be business as usual. We will be studying viruses in science class all week. Students will not have homework this week.

All make up work is due to me Wednesday, May 16th. I will not accept it after that date. Also, signed grade sheets are due tomorrow, May 15th. I will not accept them after tomorrow.

We have 7.5 days of school left. Let’s finish the 2011-2012 school year STRONG!

This week is K-PREP testing week. It is important for your child to get a goods nights rest, eat a good breakfast, drink plenty of water and come to school each day prepared to work hard.

In science this week we will be reviewing material for testing. Students will not have science homework this week.

I have graded all papers and have input the grades on the computer. I will be telling students in class the work they are missing and allowing them time to complete in class. Please take a look at Parent Portal and encourage your student work hard on making this work up during class each day.
