ALL Geometry classes

• The game "I have – who has" helped us better understand our definitions.
• Students completed the two sided Worksheet 1-B and we read the answers aloud in class.  For seventh period, this sheet was homework.

AP Stats

• We got our 20 question quiz back and discussed each question.  We decided that the quiz would be worth 50 points.
• We put the answers to the Chapter 3 practice page on the board.  It's important to put your answers "in context" by using the variables listed in the data instead of speaking in general and non-specific terms.

A sick baby forced me to miss school unexpectedly on Friday.

ALL Geometry classes

• 15 minutes of "pair and share" time let students finish their charts and compare information gathered from the website.
• Students completed Practice 1.7 using their finished charts.

AP Stats

• Unfortunately, the lesson plans submitted for this class were not followed, and the word on the street is that you had the same lesson as the geometry classes.
• The real news is that we're finished with the learning in chapter 3 and it's time for us to assess how much you understand.  Look for a test Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

ALL Geometry classes

• We went to the computer lab to input out Discovery Education Test answers.
• We took notes from the website listed on Wednesday below and completed TWO charts with definitions for POLYGONS.

AP Stats

• We finished notes on Section 3.3 of chapter 3, read a summary of 3.3, and did an example problem.
• Homework was "Chapter 3 worksheet" – a two sided summary of the main ideas in chapter 3.

ALL Geometry classes

• We began polygons and had the calendar discussion.

AP Stats

• We took notes over Section 3.3.  Please do problems 3.59 and 3.60.

AP Stats

• We took a quiz today over sections 3.1 and 3.2.  Read section 3.3 to be ready for tomorrow's discussions.

Geometry

• We discussed the triangles test and looked at midterm grades.  We had class discussions about the fraction of school we've completed and how binary numbers apply to the PopTart trick.  Tomorrow we start Polygons.

PreAP Geometry

• We took our triangles test today.  Tomorrow we start Polygons.

AP Stats –

• Review for tomorrow's quiz over sections 3.1 and 3.2

• Big test tomorrow over triangles.  Complete your review homework and STUDY!

Geometry

• We took the PAB/DEA test today to help us predict how you will perform on the state tests in the spring.  Be ready tomorrow to start POLYGONS.

AP Stats:

• Use your calculator to complete problem 3.40.

PreAP Geometry

• We had a pop quiz today!
• Complete the two sided sheet 4-2B.

Geometry

• BIG TRIANGLES TEST FRIDAY!!!!!
• Complete all the 3, 4, and 5 problems.
