Baccalaureate and Graduation Speakers/ Graduation Tickets

Posted by admin2 in Graduation at 10:10 am | Permanent Link

The results are in! You as seniors voted on who you most wanted to speak at Baccalaureate and Graduation. I am pleased to announce that your Baccalaureate speakers will be Mr. Michael Hughes and Dr. Stephen Besson.

You overwhelmingly agreed that for your graduation speaker you would like just your class officers to speak. They are looking forward to addressing their fellow students on this special evening.

I am currently putting together a senior packet with many details of the upcoming events in May. Once this date has been set, all seniors need to be present. Listen for the announcement to when this will be.

Please know as well each senior will be given 13 tickets. 6 Gold 7 White.  All of these tickets will get your guest into the Harrison County Athletic Complex. However, should we have inclement weather, the gold tickets will get 6 guest into the gym for the live graduation. The white tickets will get your guest into the auditorium to view the ceremony on screen. Tickets may NOT be sold. If you do not need all of your tickets, please give the extras to me and I will distribute them to students who have requested more.

Thank you,

Kim McIntire

Posted by Administrator in Uncategorized at 10:02 am | Permanent Link

The HCHS Class of 2012 Project Grad has been invited to participate in a wonderful opportunity to begin raising money for the Project Grad Event. We need people (parents preferably) to work at the Kentucky Speedway on Thursday (7-7-11), Friday (7-8-11) &/or Saturday (7-9-11). We will leave from the HCHS auditorium parking lot at 5:30am and will return at about 8:00pm each day. We will travel by bus. Project Grad will get paid per person/hour. The more people who work, the more money Project Grad will earn. Anyone volunteering for this event will earn double points for their senior.

If you are willing and able to work one, or more, of these days, please email me at paula.barnett@harrison.kyschools.us
