We will be working with Ms. Slade's class tomorrow on a literacy cooking project! All of the kids should have received a slip of paper asking for a specific ingredient. If you haven't already, please be sure to get your ingredient in tomorrow morning! This should be a very fun learning experience!

A big thank you to all of those that helped make our yard sale a big success! With the money we made, we will be able to take some really great trips within and around the community! We have a pumpkin patch trip coming up in October, as well as a trip to see a play.
On a side note, our basket for fall festival is a pet basket (dog and cat) if you want to go ahead and begin collecting pet things to put inside. October 23rd is the date for fall festival!

Our annual yard sale is next week! Dates and times for the yard sale are as follows:
Tuesday 10am-3pm
Wednesday 9am-3pm
Friday 9am-4pm+
FYI: The proceeds support many of our community-based instruction outings. These trips allow us to practice all of the math, reading and social skills that we learn in the classroom. We have also purchased books at the book fair and taken the kids shopping at Salvation Army for Christmas, where they were able to shop for their families and get a few necessary items for themselves. These are truly experiences we could not create within the building.

March 10th, 2010
Hey there! We have a couple things coming up that you need to know about. We have a bowling trip on Friday, March 12th. We will be leaving at 10, eating lunch there, and then will be back at school by 2. Remember that this is Ms. Kathi's last day. We will miss her dearly, but wish her all the best with her new job!
Ms. Tracy and I had a conflict with the date that Eastside set for parent/teacher conferences on the 25th. We will be having our conferences on Thursday, March 18th and Monday, March 22nd. Please look for the yellow paper coming home with your student and send it back with the time that works best for you.
Thanks!
