Northside has been very
fortunate to have an extremely strong and active Parent-Teacher Organization. In
the past, the PTO has sponsored fundraisers to assist the school in buying
computer programs, playground equipment, and materials/resources needed to
assist our teachers in their job of educating students.
The largest PTO money-maker
is the annual Festival, which will be a Spring Carnival on March 4, 2017,

In addition to fundraising
functions, the PTO serves as a coordinator for two very important services to
the school. It coordinates the activities of the volunteer room mothers,
assuring that each classroom has supplies for various parties throughout the
school year. It also serves to coordinate parent (grandparent) volunteers to
read to students, listen to children read, work with them on basic facts, help
students get caught up on missed work, and to run copies or help get materials
ready for the teachers.
We’re all working together
for the success of our students!
